Inks lakes bridge on hwy 29 just down stream from lake Buchanan and the dam. After disappointing day of trying to photograph the eagles in llano, Feb 2010, we were on the way home the long way via Burnett Texas and saw this cool bridge and had to stop and get a picture. The old iron bridge was built in 1929 and is not used any more.

Texas State History Museum, Star of Texas, Austin Texas – HDR. I set the tripod directly under the huge star that stands in front of the history museum, pointed the camera almost straight up and fired off several 5 shot brackets.

Last week I submitted the 3 photos above to the Lux Award photo contest. Yesterday I was notified by the Staff that I have won the MinLux award for week 4 as the best picture submitted in the week , as chosen by the Eclipse Institute staff. http://www.theluxawards.com/?p=390
